First time taking a pattern and color blocking it to get those sharp V's that Hope's outfit has.  It was a challenge but now I could do it again very easily. Fitting stretch material is tough! And add in having to line up all the lines for the V-shapes!  It drove me to tears at one point BUT I GOT IT! Hope Summers is almost complete now so I'm excited.  I have to put together the armor pieces which I am making out of EVA foam.  I have never used foam before in this way so it is certainly a learning experience.  I have also purchased a plastic gun to paint and modify to make Hope's weapon, which again is something I've never done before.  

I am currently starting a new cosplay.  I haven't had any time this past year outside of work so it is nice to take some time off and work on a new project.  The goal is to use foam padding to construct armor for the first time and hopefully pull off a cool Hope Summers costume.  To go along with her, I am also planning to make an Iron Fist costume for my boyfriend.  If successful I will put up pictures of my progress.  /Fingers crossed!
